Levey served as a corporate officer for the Tavistock Development Company from 2007 - 2012, and has continually provided ongoing advisory services since 2012. During this period, Levey managed the entire master planning and entitlement services for Lake Nona and related entities, including the creation of the plan for Medical City. Levey was responsible for all entitlement, community design, governmental relations, environmental permitting, development permitting, asset management and community governance programs. He assisted the company in positioning itself in attracting new employment in all sectors, including healthcare, biotech, and medical education. Facilitated the recruitment and development of the VA Medical Center Orlando, Nemours Children’s Hospital, Sanford-Burnham Institute for Medical Research, UCF College of Medicine and Valencia State College. The success of the project required a sophisticated entitlement strategy, maximizing the development capacity and 'right-sizing' infrastructure obligations.
